AWARDS CEREMONY

Awards ceremony took place today in the big hall of the Duma of Vladivostok, and winners of the citywide competition were rewarded for the best school mediation service in Vladivostok «Vladivostok,  A City of Peace and Kindness».

The following jury members were present at the awarding ceremony: Lykova Natalia Andreevna, President of the Association of Mediators and Moderators of the Asia-Pacific Region; Kaplieva Evgenia Vladimirovna, assistant prosecutor of Vladivostok; Elovikova Elina Vasilievna, Deputy Head of the Department for Advocacy, Notaries, State Civil Registration, Apostille and International Legal Assistance of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation of Primorsky Krai; Belkin Denis Stanislavovich, Head of the Department for the Protection of Citizens’ Rights and Organizational and Legal Work of the Office of the Commissioner for the Protection of Human Rights of the Primorsky Krai Administration; Pavlova Nadezhda Gennadievna, Deputy Director of the Municipal Budgetary Organization «Psychological, Educational, Medical and Social Assistance Center of Vladivostok»; Zenkovich Svetlana Pavlovna, First Category Chief specialist of the Department of Supplementary Education of the Office for working with Municipal Educational Institutions of the Administration of Vladivostok,

On behalf of the Duma of Vladivostok, the awarding ceremony was conducted by Taran Lyudmila Nikolaevna, the Chairman of Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Committee.

In 2020, the winner of the competition for the best school mediation service in Vladivostok «Vladivostok,  A City of Peace and Kindness» was the school mediation service of MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) «Secondary school № 82». MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) «Secondary school № 82» also won in the category of “The best team in a role-playing game for resolving school conflicts” and “The most creative flash mob for school mediation.”

Korotkevich Anna – a student of the MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) «Secondary school № 82» and Vilisova Ksenia – a student of the MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) «Secondary School № 21» also won in the category of «The best school mediator in Vladivostok». This year, the jury found it difficult to decide who is the best school mediator in Vladivostok, so they decided to declare both of them as joint winners. Each student has her own strengths and potential in resolving school conflicts.

MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) «Secondary School № 25» won in the category «The best idea for the introduction and development of school mediation and conflict resolution in the educational environment»

Gladkova Stalina Stanislavovna, the head of the school mediation service of MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) «Secondary School № 33» won in the special nomination “The best teacher of the school mediation service in Vladivostok”.

MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) Secondary School № 11, № 13, № 32, № 33 and “Lyceum № 3” were also encouraged for active work on the creation and development of school mediation services.

School mediation service of MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) «Secondary School № 82», the winner of the Competition was awarded with diplomas, medals and trophies for each category. Besides that, each participant was also awarded with a cash prize from the Association (10,000 rubles for each participant of the winner’s service).

School mediation services, winners in the categories of «The best idea for the introduction and development of school mediation, conflict resolution in the educational environment», «The best emblem of school mediation in Vladivostok», «The best school mediator in Vladivostok» were also awarded with diplomas, medals and trophies.

All participants and winners in special nominations also received certificates of participants and letters of gratitude. All participants of the competition were presented with gifts specially made for the competition (souvenir products, pens and notebooks).

And, of course, the organizers of the competition did not forget to thank all members of the jury for their great work. They were also awarded with letters of gratitude and souvenirs of the competition.

The Association expresses its deep gratitude to the Prosecutor’s Office of Vladivostok, the Duma of Vladivostok, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in Primorsky Krai, the Office of the Commissioner for the Protection of Human Rights of the Administration of Primorsky Krai, Municipal Budgetary Organization «Psychological, Educational, Medical and Social Assistance Center of Vladivostok», Department of Municipal Educational Institutions of Administration of Vladivostok for the support and development of school mediation in Vladivostok. The Association believes that through joint efforts the goal of creating a safe and comfortable learning environment in Vladivostok’s schools will be achieved.

The Association also expresses gratitude for the work of all participants in the competition and wishes the MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) «Secondary School № 82», the winner in the main nomination of the competition to proudly maintain their status as the Best School Mediation Service in Vladivostok and with even greater diligence to try to reduce the number of conflicts in the general educational institution and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all participants of the educational process.

The Association also expresses gratitude for its work in the manufacture of souvenir products for the competition (medals, pens, notebooks, the main trophy cup) to the advertising and souvenir company “43 Parallel”.

Unfortunately, due to the restrictions imposed due to the threat of the spread of the coronavirus infection, COVID-19, not all the participants of the competition were able to attend the awards ceremony. Therefore, the number of people who attended the awards ceremony was significantly limited. During the awards

 ceremony, all sanitary and hygienic safety measures were observed (all participants wore masks and gloves, the temperature was measured for everyone present, the participants sat at a safe distance from each other).
