Day of Family, Love and Fidelity

Today, in honor of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, the Association of Mediators and Intermediaries of the Asia–Pacific Region, together with the Primorsky branch of the United Russia Party, conducted a free group training «Happiness is when you are understood» for couples experiencing difficulties in married life and who have lost the brightness of their relationships.

The event was held on the basis of Vladivostok State University by psychologists of the Institute of Clinical Psychiatry and Psychology and professional mediators of the Association of Mediators and Intermediaries of the APR Shtelman Iosif Pavlovich and Chekhov Natalia Vladimirovna.

The group training was attended by married couples who wanted to gain new knowledge, return brightness to their relationships, and had some problems in family relations. As part of the training, married couples learned how to deal with anger and communicate with a partner, learned how to be aware of a partner’s feelings and correctly convey their feelings to a partner, etc.

At the training, Andrei Petrovich Bric, Chairman of the Vladivostok City Duma, as well as Lykova Natalia Andreevna, the president of the Association of Mediators and Intermediaries of the Asia–Pacific Region, spoke with parting words about the importance of strengthening family relations. The training was also attended by Artem Andreevich Volodin, deputy of the Vladivostok City Duma, executive secretary of the local branch of the United Russia Party of the Vladivostok City District.
