The webinar

Today, the President of the Association, Natalia Lykova, together with the President of the Primorsky Regional Notary Chamber, Natalia Egorova, held a webinar for notaries of the Primorsky Territory on notarization of mediation agreements.

The relevance of the webinar topic is due to the fact that since 01.07.2021, the provisions of Federal Law №267-FZ of 01.07.2021 «On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation» have entered into force, which established the requirement for the mandatory participation of a mediator or mediators who carry out activities on a professional basis, when a notary certifies a meditative agreement.

During the webinar, issues related to the criteria and characteristics of suspicious transactions in the certification of mediation agreements, the use of mediation agreements for the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism were discussed.

The Association expresses its gratitude to the President of the Primorsky Regional Notary Chamber Natalia Egorova for the opportunity to speak to the notaries of the Primorsky Territory and for the contribution of the Primorsky Regional Notary Chamber to the formation and development of mediation in the Primorsky Territory.
