WINNER’S AWARDS CEREMONY

On May 15, 2019, in the big hall of Duma of Vladivostok, announcement was made of the competition results and awards ceremony was conducted for winners and participants of the Competition «The best school mediation service of Vladivostok – «Vladivostok,  A City of Peace and Kindness».

The present  jury members  – Chairman of the Duma of Vladivostok, Brik Andrey Petrovich; President of the Association of Mediators and Intermediaries of the Asia-Pacific Region, Lykova Natalia Andreyevna; Head of the Regional Public Reception Office of the United Russia Party Chairman D.A.Medvedev in Primorsky Krai, Zabelina Olga Borisovna; First Category Chief Specialist of the Department of Supplementary Education of the Office for working with Municipal Educational Institutions of the Administration of Vladivostok, Zenkovich Svetlana Pavlovna; Deputy Director of the Municipal Budgetary Organization «Psychological, Educational, Medical and Social Assistance Center of Vladivostok», Pavlova Nadezhda Gennadievna; Head of the Department for Protection of Citizens’ Rights and Organizational Legal Work of the Office of the Commissioner for human rights in the Primorsky Krai, Belkin Denis Stanislavovich.

Welcoming remarks and statements about the importance of the competition for Vladivostok and Primorsky Krai were made by:

Chairman of the Duma of Vladivostok, Brik Andrey Petrovich; Deputy Secretary of the Regional Executive Committee of the United Russia Party; Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai, Novikov Dmitriy Gennadievich; Head of the Regional Public Reception Office of the United Russia Party Chairman D.A.Medvedev in Primorsky Krai, Zabelina Olga Borisovna; Head of the Department for Protection of Citizens’ Rights and Organizational Legal Work of the Office of the Commissioner for human rights in the Primorsky Krai, Belkin Denis Stanislavovich.

MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) Secondary School № 79 won in the main nomination of «The best school mediation service of Vladivostok» – Vladivostok, A City of Peace and Kindness»

Representatives of the MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) Secondary School № 79 also won in two special nominations – the best school mediator of Vladivostok (Ekaterina Mikolosyuk, a 10th grade student) and the best team in a role-playing game for resolving school conflicts.

Other winners of the special nominations of the Competition:

– The most creative school mediation flash mob – MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) Secondary School № 74;

– The best idea for the introduction and development of mediation, conflict resolution in the educational environment – MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) Secondary School № 28;

– The best emblem of school mediation – MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) Secondary School № 80;

– The best teacher of School Mediation Service of Vladivostok – MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) Secondary School № 28 (Bodrenkova Ekaterina Vladimirovna);

– For active introduction of educational practice of mediation techniques – School Mediation Service of MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) Secondary School № 38

All participants of the Competition were awarded with certificates and incentive prizes (NEW WAVE CINEMA tickets for any chosen movie), and the winners of the Competition were awarded with Diplomas.

The Association did not forget about the members of the jury, whom the President of the Association, Lykova N.A. presented with letters of gratitude on behalf of the Association and the Office for working with Municipal Educational Institutions of the Administration of Vladivostok, for assistance in conducting the competition, support and participation as a member of the jury.

In the near future, the School Mediation Service of MBEI (Municipal budgetary educational institution) Secondary School № 79, the winner in the main nomination of the Competition, will be  awarded by the Association with the main prize of the Competition – “Negotiation Bench”, which was created in one of the forges in Vladivostok at the special request of the President of the Association, Lykova N.A.

In addition, there will be an installation of a plaque of the winning school next to the mediation trophy cup – the main prize of the competition – the Crystal Lotus (photo attached), made at the special request of the President of the Association, Lykova N.A. from the company «Russian Сrystal», which has designed awards for many of the most prestigious international and Russian competitions and tournaments (Diamond Owl – the prize of the club of experts on the first channel of Russia, the Russian Cup for Football, The FIDE World Candidates Tournament trophy of the international chess tournament, etc.). It is decided to annually place a plaque with the name of the winning school next to the trophy cup.

It should be mentioned that all participants of the Competition, members of the jury and the invited guests wore the badges of the Competition, made by at the special request of the Association in the shape of a crystal lotus.
